I know it's too soon to actually post again, but here we go ...

I found a book to read, a collection of Lovecraft short stories. I have never actually read Lovecraft, and am thoroughly enjoying them. The stories are true to the short story form but are quite dense. He packs thorough descriptions that stir the emotions very well in very few words. "The Cats of Ulthar" has been my favorite in this collection so far. Unfortunately, I don't spend nearly enough time reading anymore, which means I feel like a moron carrying around the same collection of short stories for more than 2 weeks.

I know there is much in the world to comment on, but really, who cares. The world is so tedius. I'm tired of over-paid whiny politicians telling me about how good they are and how bad their opponents are while jetting around the country in a Boeing Business Jet at $300,000.00 a trip on my dime. Thanks for making it even harder to look at my pay stub every week and seeing just how big that thing that is that you are going to insert in my back end.

Seriously, I wish it were practical to seceed or overthrow the government. If ever there was a 'republic' that deserved it more, I do not know. The visionaries that created this government are sitting in the after-life just as stunned as we are at the crap that our government has become.

Gosh, I sound bitter. I just need a 28,000 square foot house sitting on 100 acres to cheer me up. If only I was a trial lawyer and senator.
